Developer CenterDTI/DTOPervasive PSQL has always been designed to be an embedded database that allows seamless integration and deployment opportunities. The Distributed Tuning Interface (DTI) and the Distributed Tuning Object (DTO - for visual development environments) brings the integration possibilities of the database to the next level. Using these APIs, you can do much of the database maintenance and configuration from within your application. Applications use embedded DTI/DTO calls to invisibly manage administrative functions that would typically require the use of external utilities in the hands of a database administrator. The features and capabilities of the API include creating databases, adjusting parameters, obtaining file handle usage, and more.
