Pervasive PSQL v9.5 and Delphi 2007 Compatibility

Pervasive PSQL v9.5 provides support for Delphi 2006 as well as Delphi 2007.  Below are the steps to incorporate Delphi 2007 compatibility into your existing Delphi 2006 environment.

Requirements:

Pervasive PSQL v9.5 (or higher)

Pervasive SDK-PDAC 9.50.023.000 (Download here)

Instructions:

Step 1 – Install Delphi 2007 into the same location as Delphi 2006 (BDS 2006)

Step 2 –Add the Packages and Path information

1. components  > Install Packages , Add , select the design packages

2. Add the paths to the DCUs  and INTs 

Since Delphi 2007 is binary compatible with Delphi2006 all of your existing BPL’s should work without any modification.  Note that it declares compiler variable VERSION_180 and VERSION_185
